Beverly D. Eisenstadt.
Ms. Eisenstadt is a 20+ year experienced appellate attorney whose practice focuses on appeals, trial support and complex litigation matters ranging from general liability insurance, maritime law, and commercial litigation.

Ms. Eisenstadt was born and raised in New York City, where she earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, cum laude, from the City College of New York. Ms. Eisenstadt went on to receive a Master’s degree in Philosophy and a Ph.D. in English from Columbia University in New York. After teaching English and American Literature at the university level, she graduated, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law in 1986. While in law school, Ms. Eisenstadt was a member of the Law Review.

Before entering private practice, Ms. Eisenstadt served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Natalie Baskin of the Florida Third District Court of Appeal and on the faculty of the University of Miami Law School teaching legal writing, law, literature and ethics. Since being in private practice, Ms. Eisenstadt is responsible for a number of important appellate opinions in areas such as punitive damages and retaliatory discharge. Reported cases include Blount v. Dino’s Fontana Di Trevi, Inc., 583 So. 2d 380 (Fla. 3d DCA 1991); Kloster Cruise, Ltd. v. DeSousa, 677 So. 2d 50 (Fla. 3d DCA 1996); Kloster Cruise, Ltd. v. Segui, 679 So. 2d 10 (Fla. 3d DCA 1996); Norwegian Cruise Line v. Zareno, 712 So. 2d 791 (Fla. 3d DCA 1998); Kloster Cruise Line v. Taay, 712 So. 2d 1233 (Fla. 3d DCA 1998); Manley-Deboer Lumber Co. v. Georgia Pacific, 897 So. 2d 528 (Fla. 3d DCA 2005); Pacific Insurance Co. Ltd. v. Ms. Eisenstadt is a member of the Florida Bar and the Miami-Dade Bar Association. She is admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, all Florida state courts and the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. Henning contributed to the 2004 supplement of the textbook Florida Construction Law. He also has served as a law clerk for Progressive Insurance and worked as a public relations consultant in Nashville, Tennessee before entering law school.
